Sean 'Diddy' Combs Accused of Racketeering Conspiracy and Sex Trafficking
Sean “Diddy” Combs Arrested on Racketeering and Sex Trafficking Charges
Sean “Diddy” Combs was arrested Monday night at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Manhattan by Homeland Security Investigations, following months of controversy, according to a source close to the situation.
On Tuesday, a federal indictment was unsealed, revealing multiple charges against Combs, including racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

Charges Detailed by Federal Prosecutors
At a press conference, US Attorney Damian Williams from the Southern District of New York announced the charges, stating that Combs is accused of engaging in racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and interstate transportation for prostitution. Williams alleged that since at least 2008, Combs abused, threatened, and coerced victims to satisfy his desires, protect his image, and conceal his actions.
Allegations of Abuse and Drug Use
Williams described the disturbing details of the allegations, claiming that Combs orchestrated drug-fueled sex parties, referred to as “freak offs,” where victims were reportedly given drugs like ketamine, ecstasy, and GHB to keep them compliant. These events allegedly spanned days and involved multiple sex workers. Combs is also accused of recording these events and controlling the participants.
Physical Abuse and Injuries
In addition to the allegations of sexual misconduct, Combs is accused of physically abusing his victims, resulting in injuries that often took days or weeks to heal. Williams highlighted one specific incident in a Los Angeles hotel where Combs allegedly kicked, dragged, and threw a vase at a victim attempting to escape.

Prosecution Seeks Detainment
Federal prosecutors are seeking to detain Combs ahead of trial, filing a letter to the court explaining their reasons. However, Williams did not provide further details. Combs is scheduled to appear in court at 2:30 p.m. ET today, according to a law enforcement source.
March Property Raids
Authorities also revealed the results of raids conducted at Combs' properties in Miami and Los Angeles in March. Items seized included AR-15 rifles, ammunition, and digital evidence related to the alleged sex parties.
Legal Team's Response
Following the arrest, Combs' attorney, Marc Agnifilo, stated that his client had been "cooperative" throughout the investigation. He claimed that Combs had voluntarily relocated to New York in anticipation of the charges. However, US Attorney Damian Williams refuted this claim, suggesting that the term “cooperative” had been overstated in this context.
The case is ongoing, and further charges may be filed as the investigation continues.
Sean “Diddy” Combs is trying to sell his house in Los Angeles and his plane — but federal prosecutors argue he should still be kept in custody while the racketeering and sex trafficking case against him proceeds.
The prosecutors filed a letter outlining that Combs has “access to dozens of bank accounts — some personal and many under corporate entities — which contain millions of dollars.” The letter also said Combs has owned a personal plane since about 2019, as well as multiple vehicles in various locations.
Combs’ defense lawyers have his passport and the passports of several of his family members, the letter said.
“As explained above, however, the defendant’s vast resources make him a flight risk even without a passport, private plane, or multiple residences,” prosecutors argue.
Combs’ defense attorneys proposed to put him on home detention with a $50 million bond secured by his Miami residence. Prosecutors argued in the detention letter that that was “plainly insufficient.”
